In the transition from the academic world into the harsh reality of the professional life, artists need financial support, professional contacts and mentoring, especially in the arts and culture hub, Berlin. The BERLIN MASTERS Foundation provides this assistance to Berlin based artists from all over the world that are selected through an OPEN CALL.
This much needed and important platform was created in 2013 to support and foster young talent by providing a curated, professional exhibition where curators, galleries and art enthusiasts can discover new artistic talent.
2019 brings further growth to the event with a larger space so artists can show more works and a 2 part talk programme with key art personalities.
Therefore we are hoping to raise a further 5.000 to 10.000 Euros to ensure that in 2019 we will have an outstanding show for the 10 selected artists and the public.
Although the Berlin art scene is known to be large and flourishing, it is still very difficult for young aspiring artists to gain a foothold in the broad masses. By supporting our project you are helping to pave the way for a new generation of artists.
In order to deliver a successful exhibition that the showcased artists deserve, we need your support to cover installation costs, photography, expenses related to the talk including fees and marketing of the events.
