What is the project goal and who is the project for?
Our goal is to build an ALL-IN-ONE social platform to promote Asian culinary diversity and culture through Recipe pages, Cooking Videos, Workshops, Dinner events, E-commerce marketplace and Food festivals.
We will create Informative online content and interactive workshops enabling people to learn authentic home recipes and cooking techniques from various Asian countries;
We will host workshops and dinner events in Berlin that bring people together to share and exchange the knowledge of Asian cuisines as well as network in real life.
Our research indicates that in Germany, people are open to different tastes from all over the world - they are one of the most adventurous generations in Europe with food. 38% of Germans cook over 5 times a week while 41% cook 3-5 times a week. 44% of young Germans aged 25-34 are keen to try out more exciting recipes.
Our project aims at people who are passionate about authentic Asian cuisines and curious to learn home-style cooking recipes.
Why would you support this project?
Our project will promote cultural diversity by providing free-access Asian cuisine recipes and cooking videos which allow people to learn and share;
Our online live-cooking workshops and cook-along sessions will allow people to remotely attend and learn using their mobile phones, computers or tablets with real-time communication.
We will create new market opportunities by providing platforms for our individuals cooks who don’t have capital or experience to run their own catering business.
We will support inter-cultural tolerance and integration in Germany and connecting our passionate and skilful cooks with a wider audience.
We will generate long-term economic value for society as well as to promote cooking with local ingredients and sustainable consumption.
