Contribute to the protection of the rights of refugees in Luxembourg
Passerell provides information and support for administrative and legal proceedings, especially asylum-related proceedings. We provide specific assistance to vulnerable individuals who are face not just with migration-related issues but also with violations of their rights such as the rights of the child, access to (mental) health care, protection for victims of domestic violence… Passerell also works to support family reunification by making contact with embassies and refugee camps abroad and circulating information.
Diversifying our sources of funding to ensure our independence
For six years we have been struggling to finance our activities, as Luxembourgish ministries still deny us any substantive financial support. Our volunteer lawyers perform invaluable work, but our organization cannot function without paying its three employees who welcome several hundreds of individuals each year and help them have their voices heard and their rights respected.
We strive to develop and diversify our funding sources. We are convinced that our work not only helps our direct beneficiaries, but also contributes to protecting the rule of law in Luxembourg, by fostering a genuine human rights culture. Each citizen can participate in this commitment to supporting the rule of law.
It will be used to pay employees in order to keep defending human rights of refugees and vulnerable people in Luxembourg.
Donate to Passerell and help us humanize asylum law.
