Reeta, 24 grew up in Shangrila orphanage. The feature length documentary tells her amazing life story in the aftermath of the big earthquake in Nepal.

"The children of Shangrila - Nepal after the Earthquake" is going to be a feature length documentary. With archival footage of theplast 12 years, the film will depict the paths of life of the children of the Shangrila orphange near Kathmandu. The focus will be the children's engagement in the reconstruction of Nepal after the earthquake. The documentary will show the huge challenges but also positive power of the youth of Nepal. A film about the power of dreams in difficult times.

Liebe Unterstützer und Unterstützerinnen, liebe Freunde,
lange war es ruhig, aber der Film über die Waisenkinder ist seit Juni 2018 fertig. Er heißt "After Shangrila" und ist 92 min lang geworden. Wir arbeiten mit dem Govinda-Verein nun an der DVD Veröffentlichung und wollen die DVD Anfang 2019 herausbringen. Dann gibt es auch die Dankeschöns an euch alle. Leider kann ich aufgrund der DSGVO den Blogeintrag nicht mehr per Mail verschicken, aber ich hoffe, die Nachricht erreicht euch trotzdem.
