Mit Jerkwater Town kommt das erste Endzeitdrama auf die Leinwände, welches komplett in Mittelfranken produziert wurde. Neben einer 30-köpfigen Crew konnte der US-amerikanische Schauspieler Marshall Titus (Barbershop) für die Rolle des mysteriösen Charakters John gewonnen werden.
