Art for a good cause! We want to help Colombian children in need to get out of poverty and enable them to have a better life. Therefore we need your support! With your purchase or donation we can ensure a new home for the children, offer them an educational place and help them getting through these difficult times. In return, you will receive beautiful original artworks and art prints for your home.
The aim of this project is to use the proceeds of art sales to do good to others and to help less privileged people.
Painting has a special meaning for me. As I faced some health hurdles this year, I (re) discovered my passion for art. The art gave me strength to get through these difficult times, which were intensified especially by Corona. She helped me to rise above the hurdles and to see new perspectives.
And just like me, numerous families in my home country Colombia who were hit particularly hard by Corona happened. Many parents lost their jobs, which is why it is harder for families there and around the world than ever before. That is why I would like to use the proceeds of my art to help these people, give them strength and enable new perspectives for everyone who suffers particularly in these difficult times.
Since I myself had the experience in my childhood that I was able to study my studies with the help of others, which in turn laid the foundation for my career as a designer today, I would now like to give something back.
I have chosen the Fundacion Angel de la Guarda , which I want to support with my art sales.
The works of art are available in different types as a thank you, depending on your preference:
Prints on paper (50x70 and 30x40)
Prints on canvas (50x70 and 30x40)
Further information about the project and the works of art can be found at: https://www.lauraisaza.com https://fundangeldelaguarda.org/
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
The aim of the project is basically to help. That is why any support is welcome and valuable! :)
I chose the Fundacion Angel de la Guarda , which I want to support with my art sales. The aim of this project is to create equal opportunities in order to open the doors for the less privileged to a self-determined and promising life. So that others can develop themselves and break new ground, regardless of their origin.
The Fundacion Angel de la Guarda (literally "Guardian Angel Foundation") supports families in Colombia whose parents no longer have the money they need to enable their children to lead a safe life. It takes care of the girls in the family, who usually have a particularly difficult time in Colombia, and offers them a new home in the foundation far from the problem areas. They are enabled to study and they receive all the support they need to enable them to have a better life in the future.
Since I did a voluntary internship at the Fundacion myself, I was able to experience their work first hand and am fascinated by their commitment and commitment.
If we manage to collect 1000 €, we can help support one of the 19 girls for a year.
With the achievement of the second goal, all 19 girls can be supported for one year.
Every euro beyond that enables additional children to be included in the program.
The project is aimed at everyone who would like to help and / or enjoy my art.
Why would you support this project?
Children are our future! Unfortunately, many of them do not have the opportunity to reach their full potential and thus create a better future. We would like to change something about that.
With the purchase of the works of art you support the hopefuls of tomorrow and acquire art from a young, independent artist who represents equal opportunities and social equality with her works.
With new decorations for your home you create a new home for children in need .
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
80% of the money will be donated to the Fundacion Angel de la Guarda the 20% will be deducted for shipping and material costs (for canvases and paint).
Who are the people behind the project?
My name is Laura, I was born in Colombia and have been living in Munich for 6 years. Here, I am following my passion, painting, alongside a professional career as a designer in the automotive sector.
I grew up in one of the not so wealthy areas of Medellin, in the heart of Colombia. There I learned early on what it means to have to face one's life without sufficient financial means and how difficult it is to escape these circumstances.
Thanks to the support and cohesion of my family, I was able to study, follow my passion and start a new life. Unfortunately there are still many families in my home country who lack this kind of support and who, above all, due to Corona, are having a particularly difficult time at the moment. I would like to support these families, especially their children, with my project and help them to create a better life.
