Our first Duo-CD, recorded in Hildesheim Cathedral, to be released with Genuin Classics, transcriptions and an original - magical Duo-Arrangements!
Aufnahme, CD-Master, Vertrieb, Orgelstimmung, Transport, Übernachtung, Fotos
Our adaptations sound colorful, orchestral, surprising, multi-dimensional, they are fun and are supposed to make you want to experience and discover the organ live. At the same time the famous orchestral works appear in an unheard fashion. Finally we are both great fans of stories which is why all recorded pieces are set in magical worlds:
Paul Dukas:
Der Zauberlehrling (1897)
Maurice Ravel:
aus: „Ma mère l'oye" (1910) (Mutter Gans):
Les entretiens (Die Schöne und das Biest)
Le jardin féerique (Der märchenhafte Garten)
Franz Danksagmüller:
Kalliope - Magic Music Box (2021)
Edward Elgar:
aus: „The wand of youth":
Fairies and Giants (Feen und Riesen)
The tame bear (Der zahme Bär)
Igor Stravinsky:
aus der Ballettmusik „Der Feuervogel" (1910):
Introduktion, Kastscheis Garten, Auftritt und Tanz des Feuervogels -
Rundtanz - Wiegenlied und Finale
This project is for all fans of classical music and those wanting to become one.
In today's CD-productions of classical music, the financial risk lies almost completely with the artists. At the same time, there are little options for a private individual to get public funding. As young musicians at the beginning of their career, this project is as much a creative investment as it is a financial venture. You can help us minimize this risk. The more money we collect here, the easier our path up to publication will get.
If nothing else music needs an audience - the difficulties of the last months demonstrated this yet again. We would be extremely glad to have an "organ-crowd" by our side.
The collected money will be used to pay the recording, costs of production, costs of sales, distribution and marketing, tuning the organ and many smaller things like transportation, accommodation, pictures and so on.
We, the Organ-Duo Marion and Lars, created this project, planned and executed it. Genuin Classics/Leipzig is our partner as our label, the recording was made by Johannes Endl. Prof Franz Danksagmüller contributed a great deal by writing our titular piece.
