Founders and the creative community are affected by the pandemic as concerts are cancelled, facilities are being closed, many are facing income losses.
The federal government is trying to help but not everyone is eligible for the relief fund which is being put in place. In some cases, Startnext & the crowd can come in to help.
This campaign sets out to help project initiators as much as we can, by simplifying the Startnext guidelines for crowdfunding relief projects.
We decided to minimize the project complexity, this means that we will suspend the all or nothing principle, and we will refund the transaction fee. In short this means, each project which is eligible will receive each contribution which has been received.
We will try and get the project online within a few hours once they have applied via this partner page.

You can participate in the Startnext Corona Relief Effort if you, your project or your company have to overcome financial shortages due to the corona virus and its consequences in social life (quarantine, closure, performance bans) and you want to address the crowd for this purpose.
You live in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Belgium and South Tyrol.
You have two options after you click on the "Apply Now" button at the top of this page:
- You apply with an already existing Startnext project
- You apply using the application form and at the same time you create a new Startnext project, which you can later work on and bring into the funding phase.
After having received your application, we will send you the information about the admission or rejection for the Startnext Corona Relief Effort by e-mail as soon as possible.
Yes, you can apply to all partner campaigns, provided your project meets the respective eligibility requirements.

- We have lowered the hurdles for Startnext projects in the Relief Effort. You can start into the funding phase without rewards and a pitch video.
- You can still change your pictures and descriptions during the funding phase.
- Once your project has been accepted for funding, we will give you 4% Cofunding for each subsequent contribution by the crowd.
There are 4 requirements for the collected money to be paid out.
- The start level has been reached.
- You have successfully legitimized yourself as a starter.
- Your Startnext project has successfully completed the funding phase.
- We have collected the contributions, including revocations, fees and cofundings.
If these requirements are met, it will take a maximum of 21 days after the end of your funding phase for the money to arrive in your account.
If your Startnext project fits the guidelines of our Corona Relief Effort, you are welcome to apply at any time.
It is important for you to know that the 4% Cofunding will only be added to your funding once you have been admitted to the campaign.
