If we reach our goal we will be able to sustainably finance our first production and our marketing efforts. We will also build an online shop.
If we reach this goal we will be able to offer additional colors, as minimum order quantities for sustainable fabrics are very high.

We are Paula and Dilara from Cologne and we invented Pocektsy because of the Problems we faced because we didn't have pockets in our clothing. We got our valuables esp. phones stolen, they fell into the toilet or it was simply annoying to have to hold them.
As you all know, women's clothing mostly comes with small or without pockets. So we end up carrying a handbag, despite there being so many things that are more enjoyable when our hands are free- And that’s seriously annoying! For that reason over 80% of women may carry valuables in their bra, where it looks bulky, is not very comfortable and items such as phones might get sweaty- No more!!!
We developed Pocketsy: a bra with three hidden Pockets, which you can now customise with beautiful accessories. It is fairly produced and made from sustainable materials to help our environment.
It's the perfect Top for going out and exists in two Versions.
- the lace bralette
- the jersey bra top, which is a bit longer. (This top is also perfect for traveling.
You will love wearing pocketsy at your next party, festival and the jersey top is a must-have for all travellers.
Choose one or more accessories to create your favourite look for your Pocketsy!
Choose from chains, ribbons and straps.
Pocketsy will be your favourite piece of clothing at the next festival, on spring break or Parties this summer. You can perfectly wear it as a Crop Top as well and combine it with your favourite outfits.
And of course Pocketsy is not only great for partying, you'll also love to wear it in the following situations:
- when traveling (also great for "dangerous" countries)
- when you go out, e.g. shopping
- if you love clothes made of sustainable fabric
- if you love versatile accessories for your clothing
- for extra snacks at the cinema ;)
- if you need to carry an insulin pump
- on a concert
- when you go for a walk with your dog
We forgot a situation in which Pocketsy would just be perfect? Let us know! Just shoot us an email!
You should support this Project if you believe that women deserve more pockets! Pocketsy supports gender equality by tackling a problem that lots of women face daily, because in so many pieces of clothes for women the pockets are non existent or sewed together. #womendeservemorepockets

With Pocketsy we support the environment by using sustainable fabrics that have been recycled. Our lace consists of 100% global recycling standard conform materials. The main component is Q-NOVA® regenerated nylon, which slashes CO2 eq. emissions by 80% and cuts down on litres of water per kg of product by 90% during the production process, as compared to a textured polyamide yarn coming from a virgin polymer. Also it has excellent moisture control meaning that the skin stays fresh and dry when wearing the pocketsy. The second component is the ROICA™ Eco Smart elastomer, which is the only premium stretch, recycled yarn in the world today. This component makes it possible that our lace is so stretchy and still 100% recycled, which normally is not possible. Also it is dyed according to the OekoTex Standard 100 and thus doesn’t contain any harmful substances.
The Pocketsy helps reduce waste and clean the Ocean.
Our jersey made of 100% REPREVE®comprises fisher nets and PET that could e.g. be collected from the ocean. The recycled materials are turned into small chips and made into yarn. This yarn is then made into the super soft and stretchy fabric that we use for our pocketsy. In comparison to “normal” fabrics this way of production doesn’t only help to clean our environment but offsets using new petroleum, emitting 20% fewer greenhouse gases and using 99% less water and 62% less energy in the process.
Pocketsy is fairly produced by a family manufacturer in Varna, Bulgaria. The workers love their work there and by producing there we don't only support the EU economy but we also save on CO2 emission by having a shorter supply chain.
If gender equality, sustainability and fair working conditions are something that you love then you should support Pocketsy
With your support we will be able to sustainably finance our production and marketing campaign. The more money we collect the more Colors we can offer to you. We hope to add additional Colors soon and we will consult all our backers for that. Also a part of the money will be used for building our online shop.
We are Paula and Dilara from Cologne. Together we invented Pocketsy.
“Hi, I’m Paula from Cologne and together with Dilara I’ve been working on Pocketsy for over a year. We are really proud to finally present you world’s first bra with three built in pocketsy, that are easily accessible.
But let’s start from the beginning of our story, because there is a peculiar story behind all this: Dilara and I actually met by coincidence at the STARTPLATZ Accelerator where we both were individually working on the same idea. Right after we met for the first time we decided to team up and stay together as Team Pocketsy (ellovee) in the accelerator.
How I got this idea? Well I used to store stuff in my bra every time I would go out and then once after putting my stuff in the locker I turned around and all the girls behind me in the queue were doing the same thing - they were all putting their phone or money in their bras.”
I moved from the Sauerland to Cologne just for founding my first startup . I got the idea for a brea with Pockets when I was traveling in London. After my phone had gotten stolen out of my bag pack I was looking for a safe alternative. And where would my valuables be safer than in my bra.
So I searched online for bra with pockets but I couldn’t find anything. They were all not really useful as the pockets weren’t easily accessible or they looked like a bra - tracking bag pack crossover”
So since there was no bra that fulfilled our requirements we decided to develop one on our own. Our main idea is “fashion but functional”/b]. Because we believe that women’s clothing should finally become a bit more practical and look good at the same time - and even better if it’s sustainably produced.
