ROBERTA PISU

Born in Cagliari in 1984, she began her professional studies at the“Academie de dance Classique Princesse Grace (France). Later in July 2010, she graduated from the contemporary dance department at the “Accademia Nazionale di Danza”(Italy).
In 2002 he worked as a soloist with the "Teatro lirico di Cagliari”. After she moved to Rome and many experiences as freelance in 2007 she worked with Adriana Boriello and in 2008 she joined the company "La Compagnia" with the artistic supervision of Pina Bausch and the artistic direction of Ismael Ivo, Cristiana Morganti, Adriana Boriello and Margherita Parrilla working with different choreographers including Iacopo Rodani, Robin Orlin, Wayne Mc Gregor and Ismael Ivo.
In 2008 he began his career as a choreographer in parallel, winning the first prize of the category at the Spoleto International Festival. In 2011 she won a scholarship as a choreographer for the Banff Center for Arts and Creativity where he spent two months and collaborated with several local artists. On 2012 she collaborates as a dancer for the company "Liens et lieux danse contemporaine marginale" directed by Johanne Gour (Montreal-QC).
Since December 2012 she has been working as a solo dancer at the "Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz" in München under the direction of Karl Alfred Schreiner and since 2016 as choreographer.
Since then she took part in all the productions, working with choreographers such as William Forsythe, Jacopo Godani, Michael Schumacher, Antony Rizzi, Christopher Roman, Erna Ómarsdóttir, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Nanine-Linning, Marguerite Donlon, Alexander Ekman, Marco Goecke, Emanuele Soavi, Jo Stromgren , Mauro Astolfi, Gaytano Soto, Edward Clug, Georg Reischi, Gentian Doda, Emanuel Gat, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Adam Cooper, Benoir la Chambre, Eyal Dadon, Roberto Zappalà, Moritz Ostruschnjak, Stijn Celis and Karl Alfred Schreiner.
As choreographer she is the author of Minute-Made, 2017 De amore, 2018 Je Suis Faust and Sie in collaboration with Gasteig, 2018 Momo, 2019 Frida Kahlo.

Currently she is engaged as a dancer in the productions of the theater season and as a choreographer in the creation of the new production in collaboration with Gasteig with premier in September 2020.
