Projekt
Worum geht es in dem Projekt?
To make the invisible visible and tangible: "Reise // Journey //
Voyage" is an art installation depicting human causes of forced
migration. By transferring the topic to a different platform other
than the mainstream media people can engage, experience and make up
their minds to fully understand and rely to it
The project has been realised in July 2016 as a graduation project
from the M.A. in Bühnenbild_Szenischer Raum at the TU Berlin.
When visiting the installation many visitors expressed their wish
to further engage with this project by putting it in a more public
space. Due to this overwhelming response and the social
significance of the topic"Reise // Journey // Voyage" will be shown
in public places in major European cities starting with Potsdamer
Platz in Berlin.
Was sind die Ziele und wer ist die Zielgruppe?
Reise // Journey // Voyage" is a living organism growing through
the engagement of every visitor and every place being shown.
Creating empathy and understanding by using art as a language and
tool to change prevailing opinions about human causes such as
refugees by war, natural catastrophes and other men made disasters.
Enabling people all over Europe to rely and engage with it so they
otherwise would be very hesitant to deal with
Warum sollte jemand dieses Projekt unterstützen?
Become a part of an ever evolving and sustainable art project
which changes the way of our perception and behaviour towards human
causes and art as a medium.
This is an art project enabled by people for people, not a
superficial artwork positioned on top of a social problem to give
it a fancy face to be displayed in galleries and museums.
It is here to trigger a wake up call to our consciousness.
