What is this project all about?

MA SODA celebrates 10 years of practise-led postgraduate dance education. Combining works and research presentations from the current and past graduates of this performance-orientated Master of Art degree.

Presenting works from over 30 alumni and current students, from over 20 countries, this 4 week festival bring together artists, thinkers and practitioners alike.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

High quality contemporary dance and performance art. A broad, brave and diverse program, not only on the stage but also showcasing work through film, interactive work, publications, workshops, lectures and reflective space.

This festival is for the dance and performance art community of Berlin and beyond, an interdisciplinary focal point and celebration.

Why would you support this project?

Pre-book your ticket! Year after year the SoDA Works festival plays to full houses. Sometimes show have strictly limited capacity. Here's your chance to reserve your place.

Receive the specially crafted publication, virtually or physically.

And most importantly, support the flourishing of the performing arts.

By supporting the festival, You're helping bring Berlin bred, international caliber work back to the nest... Our talented artists are not getting paid from the festival and are travelling back for the opportunity to present. SoDA truely Works For You.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

We gratefully have support from the UdK and KKWV as well as Uferstudios. But we fall short on a variety of needs, all of which allows SoDA work for YOU!
