Your Responsibilities

  • You will develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of our crowdfunding platform.

  • You will collaborate closely with colleagues to plan and implement technical concepts.

  • You’re deeply engaged in AI and bring both expertise and curiosity for new technologies and approaches.

  • You ensure quality regarding browser/device compatibility, accessibility, and SEO.

  • You evaluate and define the frontend and backend technology portfolio.

  • You document and implement test scenarios (test management).

  • You support our external SRE in monitoring, rollouts, and outage analyses.

Our Technology Stack

  • Frontend: Vue.js, (React), Less, Smarty, Bootstrap

  • Backend: PHP, Symfony, MariaDB, Docker

  • Version Control: GitLab

  • Server: NGINX, Ubuntu

  • Cloud: AWS Serverless, Kubernetes

  • Monitoring: Cloudflare, NewRelic, Google Analytics

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.

  • Strong expertise in frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React).

  • Experience in backend development with PHP and frameworks such as Symfony.

  • Proficient with version control (GIT) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience in data modeling with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB).

  • Ideally, experience with accessibility and SEO.

  • Team player who takes responsibility for their work.

  • Good German skills (at least B1) or native speaker. Our team communicates in German.

  • Good to excellent English skills – we document our software in English.

  • You’ll be working in a mature system and should be open to refactoring, paying down technical debt, and contributing to sustainable, future-oriented code practices.

Contract & Conditions

  • Start Date: Immediately

  • Type: Full-time (~40 hours/week), permanent

  • Location: Dresden office; hybrid work possible by agreement

  • Salary: €50,000–€75,000 gross annually (full-time, based on qualifications & experience)

  • Equipment: MacBook M provided
