The Arduino Granular Synth, originally designed by Peter Knight, is Lo-Fi Granular Synth that is a great fun starter project to learn about Arduino programming and make a great sounding little noise box that can be adapted and reprogrammed anytime you have a new idea.
The project involves very minimal electronics connecting 5 Potentiometers directly to an Arduino Uno and one small speaker. These 5 Pots change the sound based on the programming in the Arduino.
In this workshop we will build the Audunio Synth, with a custom 3D printed enclosure and an Aluminum CNC’d faceplate. (Pre-made, but we will provide the files so you can alter them yourself at a later date if you desire). And we will go over the programming of the Arduino and explain how it works and some simple ways that it can be altered.
This is a great beginner workshop for someone with no experience in Electronics or Programming, but who is interested in how it works and is looking for a way to get started.
5 participants/ workshop.
