With a "Spontaneous Maker" Membership at Alt Makers, you get the freedom to drop in and make whenever inspiration strikes without committing to substantial machine use. And during this campaign, it’s even better: buy 1 month and get 1 month free!

All memberships include:

• 24/7 access to our 200 m² makerspace at ExRotaprint
• Use of our library of materials and books
• Workstations with professional design and CAD/CAM software
• A welcoming community of makers who share skills and inspiration

The "Spontaneous Maker" tier is our most flexible option: machine use is pay as you go, you can participate to the free workshops and training sessions, where you can learn skills, get inspired, and work on projects with guidance and support.

How do Credits works?
You only use Credits when a machine is running — preparation and design time cost nothing. Each machine has a rate in Credits per minute. For example:

• The big laser cutter = 6 Credits/minute (i.e. a lampshade in MDF can take 20–45 minutes depending on design)
• The desktop CNC = 5 Credits/minute (i.e. a notebook cover takes about 3 minutes to cut)
• The embroidery machine = 4 Credits/minute (i.e. embroidering a 4-color logo on a cap takes about 10 minutes)

These times are given as examples and can vary according to a multitude of factors such as material, complexity, and design choices.

For some machines, like the embroidery machine, sewing and overlock machines, and 3D printers, the rate even includes materials such as needles, thread, or filament (all rates can be found on our website).

Your membership starts April 1st, 2025 at 8:00 AM, when we open the doors of Alt Makers. While access to the space during our soft opening in January is reserved for workshops, crowdfunding members will get something special: we’ll invite you to exclusive free training sessions on the machines in January, in very small groups.

All of our supporters will be commemorated in an engraved plaque at the space. We appreciate our community and want to honor everyone who helped make this space a reality. Every contribution helps.
