CD Barrios Guitar Quartet: TEMPI MODERNI

We are planning for a new CD entitledTempi Moderni. As the name suggests, we want to bring to life the spirit of change through the musical epochs from early Baroque to the 20th century with our innovative sounds and original arrangements. Along with our baroque guitars, we’ll add a Quintbass Guitar and a drum set with cajon in order to expand the spectrum of our sound and to create a unique program.

Our goal as artists is to explore how musical styles of distant eras meet, intermingle, and influence each other. We want to reach You: the listener who is open, curious, and longing for compositions that blend classical grandeur and structure with contemporary energy and feeling. You appreciate unique arrangements with exciting musical contrasts and fresh interpretations.

We have invested our musical passion, our creativity, and many hours of time to create this innovative work. This will be our most elaborate, unique, and detailed recording so far. In order to finalize the project and make the music accessible to the public, we need your financial support. You will be delighted with the surprises and variety of sound our recording will bring. We need to finance all the costs associated with creating the CD. These include: room rental, sound engineering, editing, mastering, travel expenses, equipment, artwork, printing, GEMA, pressing.
