Musik verbindet Menschen unterschiedlicher Herkunft, Religion und Couleur am Beispiel der verfolgten polnisch-jüdischen Sängerin BELINA. Come together

Belina galt mit ihrem folkloristischen Repertoire als Brückenbauerin zwischen den Völkern und Kulturen. Mit dem Gitarristen Siegfried Behrend reiste sie in den 60er-Jahren um die Welt und setzte sich trotz traumatischer Erlebnisse in der NS-Zeit für Toleranz und Gleichberechtigung zwischen Deutschen, Juden und den anderen Völkern ein. Ihr Bestreben, zu verbinden und zu vermitteln, war vorbildlich und mutig und ist heute mit Kriegen, Rassismus und Flüchtlingsströmen von brennender Aktualität.

Ein schöneres Geschenk zum Jahresausklang gibt es wohl kaum: BELINA - Music For Peace - US-Premiere beim 25. Miami Jewish Film Festival (13.-27. Januar 2022).
Das MJFF ist das angesehenste jüdische Filmfestival der Welt, das am schnellsten wachsende Filmfestival im Bundesstaat Florida und eine der größten jüdischen Kulturveranstaltungen im Südosten der USA. Jedes Jahr werden mehrere Filme, die beim Festival uraufgeführt werden, für den US-Vertrieb erworben, darunter 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros ., Sony Pictures Classics, Netflix, Gaumont, HBO-Dokumentarfilme usw.
