A film about an unusual adventure of a single father and his son: "by fair means" they will bike, hike and paddle their way from their doorstep in Munich to the summit of Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, and back! The journey starts on 01. June and with your help they will be able to share their story & experiences by producing a film abut their adventure.

What is this project all about?
Its about a special adventure that I have the luck to be able to share and experience with my son. It is a "rite of passage" of sorts and it is about fun, about being in the outdoors and about the experience of accomplishing a challenge. There is nothing better I can imagine sharing with my son!
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
The film is meant to inspire everybody out there! It doesn't matter if you're not into outdoor sports or if you're a parent or not, we think that everybody would benefit from setting out to find their own adventures and challenges. To leave the confines of their familiar and safe environments and to dive into something new and exciting and to hopefully discover (again) what makes life worth living!
Why would you support this project?
Because only your help and support will enable us to produce a documentary and to transform this personal adventure of two guys into something big enough to reach and inspire a lot of other people as well.
We simpley don't have the funds to do this ourselves.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
About 80% of the funds will serve directly to bring the necessary man-power on board: an additional camera man and a professional video editor who are critical in the creation of a high-quality film. The other part of the funding will go towards renting specialized film and sound equipment.
Who are the people behind the project?
Our Adventure is entirely self-funded, but we are lucky enough to have the support and sponsorship of a few key people and companies:
BERGHAUS has generously provided us with all the clothing we need, backpacks and a tent and the BERGHAUS Germany team has been wonderful and supportive to us.
Our friend, Craig Burton, a great physiotherapist, monitors our training and keeps an eye on our fitness and health, in particular he makes sure that Luca prepares the right way. Many other friends are also closely involved in our preparations and we can't thank them all enough!!

1/31/13 - Unser Film ist so gut wie fertig, gerade wird...
Unser Film ist so gut wie fertig, gerade wird der letzte Feinschliff gemacht! Ende Februar wird dann auch gebührend gefeiert und in München eine richtige Premiere geben auf die wir uns schon sehr freuen. Auf unserer Website und auf der Facebook Fanpage wird es in den nächsten paar Tagen nähere Infos dazu geben!
6/2/12 - Durch sehr schlechte und gefährliche...
Durch sehr schlechte und gefährliche Bedingungen auf der Zugspitze haben Luca und ich beschlossen, unsere Tour nicht wie geplant zu starten. Die Gefahr am Berg wäre zu groß gewesen und unsere Sicherheit geht vor. Aber aufgeschoben ist nicht aufgehoben! Wir werden jetzt pünktlich zum Start der Sommerferien starten, das genau Datum teilen wir euch allen natürlich noch rechtzeitig mit! Liebe Grüße von Luca und mir
