With the latest 3D printing technology, we are able to imitate and rebuild nature.

Using purely mineral 3D printing from ING3D GmbH, it is possible for the first time to print natural support elements for corals that are not made of concrete, plastic or other synthetic materials. The individually printed elements are anchored in the sea and can be observed using permanently installed underwater cameras as they colonize corals.

Liebe Unterstützer:innen,

vielen Dank für euer Vertrauen in unsere Kampagne. Wir konnten dank eurer Hilfe erste Korallen drucken und haben viele wertvolle Erkenntnisse für unsere zukünftige Arbeit gesammelt. Gleichzeitig haben wir gemerkt, dass wir mit unserer Mission erst ganz am Anfang stehen und wir das Thema mineralischer 3D-Druck von Korallen noch deutlich bekannter machen müssen - für die Aufforstung von Korallen, für mehr Artenvielfalt in den Ozeanen, für unseren Planeten.
