What is this project all about?

The storming of the Capitol. The pollution of the seas. And now this pandemic. There's a lot going wrong out there, folks! Don't you wonder what it's all about? Shouldn't we all just stop all this nonsense?

The title of the campaign comes from a book by Paul Lafargue, a smart guy, probably related to Karl Marx. The text is complicated and seems to me to be out of date, but he has some quite radical ideas on the subject of work.

I think that this "proletariat" is somehow different today, but most of us are still hard at work all day, always in a bad mood and stressed out all the time. By the way, the home of honey bees and square-lipped rhinoceros is also destroyed.

But that doesn't have to be the case at all! I make for us in any case gladly already the beginning and take this "Right to be Lazy" in claim. So I simply put together this campaign here and collect money to get out of the whole nonsense.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

To be lazy as long as possible. All those who enjoy working are welcome to support me.

Why would you support this project?

Of course, so I can be lazy! For your support, I've come up with fantastic rewards. After all, I don't want to produce any useless stuff in my free time and send it by mail, which then only just lies around with you.

I think the best product is one that is not even produced. That is real sustainability!

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

Then I take it easy, but properly: I sleep in every day, eat a fantastic breakfast and then directly start my daily program: hanging out. When the urge to do something can no longer be restrained, I pack a few things, go somewhere and recover from doing nothing.

Who are the people behind the project?

Jonas Lewek, artist. I've never really liked work. But because you have to start something at some point, I registered at an art academy. Since I got my diploma, which I received for practically nothing, my life has become only slightly more complicated.

As a freelance artist, you can easily avoid all of life's struggles. In the current situation, like all the others in the field, I am doing this better than ever before. It's also great that you can sell such bullshit as this campaign here as art.
