Ein Album, das sich Paul Verlaines Leben anhand seiner vertonten Gedichte nähert. Ein bewegtes Leben, geprägt von starken Gefühlen, existenziellen Krisen, bodenlosem Leid, rauschhaftem Glück, raffiniertester Kunst und letztlich großer Menschlichkeit. Neben Klassikern des französischen Liedes wie Claude Debussy und Gabriel Fauré widmen wir uns unterrepräsentierten Komponisten wie Gabriel Dupont, Ernest Chausson, Reynaldo Hahn, Louis Vierne, Edgar Varèse und Charles Loeffler.
