Dear friends, fans and those who are interested, after last year's successful crowdfunding campaign to finance our live-DVD it's time for a second longplayer. "Inphantasia" is conceived as a concept record, dealing with the overcoming of fears and depression by traveling back into childhood. We'd love you to join us in this adventure.
We are Eyevory, a progressive rock band from Bremen, Germany. We have already completed one successful crowdfunding campaign on startnext. Thanks to our fans we were able to finance our live-DVD from a gig we did with a classical orchestra. The key features to our sound are two exceptional female voices, joyful flute-melodies and catchy hooks paired with heavy guitars and complex instrumental arrangements. Progressive rock - with hints of folk, classical music, pop, hard rock and metal. To sum it up: a total work of Art without boundaries and barriers. We can look back on a respectable amount of shows throughout Europe during the last four years, including support shows for fellow Canadian prog-rockers SAGA, Ray Wilson (of Genesis-fame), Doro Pesch and Manfred Mann's Earth Band. In April of 2013 we released our debut album "Euphobia" and went on a big German tour, financed by the Wacken Foundation. Now it's time for the follow up "Inphantasia" which we workd on for two years and would love to release soon.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
The main goal is to make this album happen big time to match our and your high expectations. The basic tracks are done by now so it's time to record the vocals, flute and extras, mix it, master it, package and press it and promote it. YOU are the target group!
Why would you support this project?
We don't have a major recording contract. We organize and finance everything by ourselves. For artists and bands it's getting increasingly difficult to establish themselves in this business and to remain on track in the long run. Despite modern-day devices like social media and other tools it takes a lot of time to concentrate on the music itself. We'd love you to put your faith in us and join us on this journey. As a supporter you may choose from a wide array of unique "goodies". And be part of the process as we keep you informed of every step we take.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
If we succeed with this campaign we can finish the record, mix it, master it, press it, promote it and make it available professionally! In case of over-financing we might consider releasing it on vinyl as well and maybe even producing a music video.
Who are the people behind the project?
The German progressive rock band "Eyevory", with:
Jana Frank (vocals, bass) Kaja Fischer (vocals, flute) David Merz (guitars, keyboards)
