Astor Piazzollas größtes Vorbild war – Johann Sebastian Bach! Dieser Beziehung spürt die norddeutsche sinfonietta gemeinsam mit dem Bandoneonisten Rocco Heins (Bargteheide/Oldenburg) in einer CD-Produktion nach. Für Piazzolla (1921-92), Begründer des Tango Nuevo, wurde der vielseitige barocke Meister zum Schlüsselerlebnis! Das Projekt wurde 2021 zum 100. Geburtstag Piazzollas erstmals realisiert. Dafür sind teils neue Arrangements entstanden, die die Nähe beider beleuchtet.
