CineDi´ - Italienisches Kino am Dienstag

Eight evenings, eight films: some of them with guests from Italy.
Each screening will be in Italian language + English or German subtitles and, afterwards, there will be a debate.
The program will be focused on quality films that are particularly meaningful for our times. The focus is Italy - from a non-conventional and non-stereotypical point of view.

The aim of the project is to offer an opportunity to have a taste of Italian culture through cinema.
A window, which will open to the viewers who are interested to know something more about the contemporary Italian society.
At some of the screenings there will also be special guests from the cinema industry.
I will be there at the end of the film, ready to answer to any kind of curiosity or question. The debates will be held both in German and Italian, givin… Mehr anzeigen

Because I strongly believe that from Cinema we can always learn something about ourselves and the society we are living in. And that every nation, culture and language has something precious to offer. I believe that some Italian movies deserve to be shown more frequently in an international context and that it is very important to talk with professionals who took part to the films that are shown, as an opportunity to learn something directly from their e… Mehr anzeigen

Your contribute will be used:
- to cover the rent of the cinema and the screening fees for some of the films
- to cover the expenses of accomodation and travel for guests (actors, directors, screenwriteres) that I would like to invite from Italy

My team is... well, basically that´s me!

My work and my passion is to organize film screenings and cultural events concerning cinema, as a freelance "Film Curator".
I manage all the organizational aspects, from the concept to the final event with or without guest.
