Benjamin Beblo
Benjamin Beblo2 min Lesezeit

Seinen 30.

Fungai Nengare is a versatile Zimbabwean artist well known for his warm fusion of Jazz, Pop, and R'n'B. His happy and comprehensive melodies have seen Fungai grace many high profile stages and events.
Fungai started singing at the tender age of 7 and found himself being an assistant choir master at the age of 10 at his local primary school. He has had a passion for music ever since. At 19, he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in music. He then studied Music in World Cultures with UNISA (University of South Africa) at degree level and also acquired a Teaching Diploma specializing in infants.
He moved to Harare to further his music career and started performing at events like The Acoustic Night at the Zimbabwe German Society. Fungai's talent later landed him a lead vocalist and song writer role with the well renowned "Jazz Invitation" outfit where he composed the hit song "Nguwe".
Fungai has worked with artists such as Oliver Mtukudzi, Prudence Katomeni, Patience Musa, DJ Naida, Sima Tagz, Reverb 7, Tehn Diamond, Synik, Rutendo Denise, Prayersoul, Adiona and Tariro neGitare.
He has performed with JAMARAM & Masaa (German Bands) at HIFA 2014 and the Zimbabwe German Society 30th Anniversary.

GRACELAND heisst jetzt HEAVY HEAVY!
Prayersoul über die Bedeutung: „Heavy Heavy“ is a slang response to when someone says „what's up?“ It means „it's all good“... It's a very free and casual way of saying „fine“.
