What is this project all about?
When people around the world heard about JINA, they started shouting “Woman, Life, Freedom” demanding equal rights for women and girls everywhere. The response to Jina’s courage still echoes and poses questions to all of us: How do we find the right words to explain injustice to our children? And how do we find the tools to strengthen their voices?

What is the project goal and who is the project for?
Our goal is to finalize the German and English script and print the JINA picture book locally. As mentioned, along with the book we are producing a JINA story box with educational activities and songs related to the story. These can be explored at home or in workshops. Through workshops, we wish to provide each child with a set of the JINA book and JINA Story box - free of charge.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
With your support, we will be able to:
-Print one edition in German and one in English. 2000 copies in total.
-Finalize the production of the Jina story boxes.
-Set up free Workshops across Germany in schools & community centres in collaboration with Transfer of Knowledge. Thereby, we can reach girls and women from diverse backgrounds and be able to provide free books to participants.

We have chosen to print the book locally to support our local community and have a greener footprint. Contents of our story boxes are often items one can find oneself in nature or in the kitchen, reducing the consumption of plastics.
