MALDURINs new album combines heavy metal and fantasy in one concept. All Hail Caranthur tells the story of the brutal king's rise.
As MALDURIN I play highly melodic heavy metal - and my songs tell stories from my own fantasy universe and the war between the two kingdoms "Rieubane" and "Malduria" - a fight between religion, tradition and science. My music is accompanied by written short stories - All Hail Caranthur tells the story of the brutal king's rise and the root of the conflict.

What is this project all about?
It is about funding for the recording of my first full album "All Hail Caranthur".
The album tells the story of a man who lost what was most important to him and who should henceforth be known as the king and rebel Caranthur.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
I love rockmusic, medieval, fantasy and videogames.
As MALDURIN I am fighting for my dream to earn a living as a musician, with passion and creativity.
All those who are longing for their favorite guitar solos at concerts, all those who spend their summers on medieval markets and all those, whose childhood was shaped by roleplay, videogames or books of knights and dragons will surely find themselves somewhere in MALDURIN.
Why would you support this project?
Beautiful melodies and catchiness shape my style, strong guitar solos and a tendency to drama invite to fantasize!
However I am not restricted to a genre or any cliché.
I am continuously working on reinventing MALDURIN
and, for my upcoming album, I am for the first time collaborating with the wonderful singer Marijana Mladenov for the first time on songs as well!
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
Level 1
Along with my savings i will be able to record the album in the studio and release it!
However i will have to save some more money for pressing the CDs, hence it will take a little while longer...but it will happen!
Level 2 (1300€)
The recordings and the pressing of the CDs are secured!
The release will be around August/September 2021, Thank you!
Level 3 (2.100€)
I will be able to realize a music video together with Marijana Mladenov and promote it!
Level 4
The story of Caranthur and his rise will be released as a book, as well es other merchandise, like t-shirts!
I will also be able to put some money into marketing!

Who are the people behind the project?
MALDURIN is my solo project I started in July 2020.
I am Leonard Kemenani: metalhead, nerd, musician and a dreamer.
I am working hard on my aim to be a fulltime musician.
What I am doing comes from the heart and from the conviction that we should use the lifetime we have to chase our dreams and be ourselves.
For my upcoming Album I started to work with the amazing singer Marijana Mladenov to bring vocal songs as well!
