Der Film will zeigen, wie Marxloh wirklich ist. Ein Stadtteil, den es so auch woanders in Deutschland gibt. In Berlin, in Dortmund oder Hamburg. Deshalb ist Marxloh ein Sinnbild für einen Ort, um den sich viele einfach nicht mehr kümmern. Ein Viertel, das sich teilweise selbst überlassen wird. Wir haben mit den Menschen geredet, von ihren Nöten erfahren und davon, warum trotz aller Probleme Marxloh ein lebenswerter Ort ist.
