Street Photography Mixtape

The street photography community in the Cologne area is home to an impressive variety of personalities, each bringing their own unique photographic style. This gave rise to what has become a well-known concept in our community — the "Mixtape idea": capturing the diversity of street photography that emerges from this region while embracing a global perspective.

Our goal is to use the crowdfunding proceeds to print as many books as possible. This is a non-profit project — every cent will be reinvested, either in printing more books or in a release event.

This book is a first of its kind: Never before have more than 40 street photographers from the Cologne area come together to merge their best work into a well-curated book. Street Photography Mixtape is a collection of photographic highlights captured in diverse locations around the world— from Istanbul, Shanghai, and London to Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Bonn.

Once the funding is successfully completed, printing will begin. Test prints have already been conducted. After printing, the books will be shipped. We expect the delivery period to be between April and May.

Behind the project is a team of six street photographers who have overseen the editorial process on behalf of the Cologne street photography community.
