Dokumentarfilm: Mummenschanz Nicht nur ein Käfig voller Narren, ein ganzes Städtchen fällt einmal im Jahr in den Ausnahmezustand: Aus allen Ecken und Winkel knurrt es, springen rote Gestalten mit Bärengebrüll und wilden Masken auf Passanten zu, tanzen ums Feuer, knallen Saublasen: Fasnet! Sind die irre? Wir wollen einen Film über närrische Leute machen, die Wurzeln ihrer Rituale, die Freiheit und ihre Grenzen hier und erstaunlich ähnlich: In Sardinien. Eine exotische Reise mitten in unser Land.
