We released EP I “Alive” as a free download last summer and now, we’re asking for help to release the follow up EP II “Revive”. Why this project? 3 years ago, the three of us decided it was time to leave our homeland New Zealand behind, in pursuit of a new adventure in a larger playground. We made a commitment to pursue music. We boarded a plane and arrived on the opposite side of the globe in Berlin, Germany. It was a journey that brought a rush of intense change and vulnerability. Creating music was our way of channelling the emotional high’s and lows of this experience. Through performing and writing music, we connected with the German people and culture, ultimately discovering that sense of home in a brand new country and culture.

Our goal is to raise the costs involved to record, produce & promote our EP release. We’ve put together a whole heap of rewards to make sure we put the love back where it belongs, with you! As a band we believe in the importance of being vulnerable and the truth is that what we wouldn’t exist without the support of our friends and fans. That’s why we’ve decided to go public and ask for help to complete our vision.

Once our EP is finished we will be hitting the road on a nationwide tour so we can share our creation with you and the world.

We couldn’t be more proud of the songs we’ve written for EP II “Revive”. It’s vibe is upbeat, emotive and uplifting and these tracks share a journey of hope, joy and human resilience. Music is our inspiration and our therapy and we want to share that experience with as many people as we possibly can. The inspiration behind our double EP Alive & Revive was shaped by both the high’s and lows of our collective experiences after moving to berlin. It also captures a personal journey of lead singer ‘Simon Hughes’ and his personal realisations after a diagnosis of Bi Polar. The two EP’s showcase this journey of hope & recovery.

Our first EP “Alive" was released completely independent in July of 2014 as a free download. We built a small home studio and recorded the EP ourselves, then invested our own money into producing the EP. We poured our hearts into each and every track, using all of the resources we had available to us. We called on favours from friends for design, to take photo’s, to mix the tracks and we personally packaged each physical EP ourselves. After releasing EP I 'Alive’ in 2014 summer we hit the road and began playing shows across Germany. We were overwhelmed with the amount of people who showed up to support us and this confirmed to us, that we were on the right path.

Design & CD production - This will also cover the cost of pressing the CD’s, layout design & Printing CD’s/Vinyl.

Producers/Mixing - We’re also going to work with a producer we’ve selected, who we believe will challenge us & give us that extra guidance needed to make sure the inspiration flows in the studio so we can truly create our best work yet.

Mastering - This is the part where a music tech geek takes our tracks and polishes them up so they sound amazing to your delicate ears.

Promotion - Remaining independant has allowed us to be in creative control of our destiny and that’s important to us, but it’s time to stretch and expand. BRING IN the promotions team. We already have a strong promotional team ready and waiting for the release of “Revive” who truly believe in us and our music. These people will help us reach even more listeners and to get even more people on board the Pause Applause love train.

Tour - If we manage to raise anything above our target, then this money will go towards the costs involved for our German tour to play shows for you with our Revive EP release.
