LastenVeloFreiburg ist ein Umsonst-Fahrradverleihsystem das ausschließlich Lastenfahrräder zum Verleih anbietet. Die Nutzer können die Räder nach Online-Registrierung jederzeit ausleihen. Alles läuft automatisch via Computersteuerung; jedes Rad hat einen Boardcomputer. Die Lastenräder können wie beim CarSharing flexibel und spontan geliehen werden. Neu dabei: Keine festen Parkplätze! Die Lastenräder können überall abgestellt werden. GPS, Internet und Smartphones machen es möglich.
