This is a moving collection of works that mirrors the glowing from within during moments of beauty, when people are completely themselves and in a state of love. They are snapshots of moments full of devotion and deep connection with themselves and their environments. This picture book is a homage to the light within us al. A devoted collection of works found on the path of love.
282 photographs from small and large alternative & sustainable festivals of the last 6 years show a red thread in the artist‘s work.
An emotional testimony of a worldwide new festival culture.

It also contains intimate information about how it all started .. with my home literally burning down 7 years ago,
new friends taking me in and introducing me to a form of festival with such an open, natural and loving togetherness … which touched me so deeply, that i bought a camera to show the whole world how beautiful this is.

The book also contains a chapter about what inspires and attracts me as a photographer and human being … that’s basically love … surrender … joy … authenticity … and inner and outer beauty.

Its also about how i let myself be guided by Intuition … to forget about framing, composition and „THEE” perfect image

Its about trust … which to me is the number one condition to be able to open up in all the ways which i captured and portraited in this book.

Its about the new Festival Culture and how i perceive it in its current development

and … there is also a beautiful guest contribution by my fellow book author and friend Vivian Dittmar from the Terra Institute about the basis of most of these festivals: „The Circle Culture”

The goal is to make a picture book that will be a great pleasure for everyone and also contains many interesting details about me and my work.

It will be released in December - just in time for Christmas.

Since Souls of Light can be found all over the world, it is important to me that this book is published bilingually in German/English.

The production of a high-quality illustrated book is very, very expensive. Behind it are the following costs:

• professional layout
• Cost of translating the text into English
• Printing of the book
• Shipment of the book
• 19% VAT that I have to pay to the state

Additional costs: Production and dispatch of the thank you notes, 4% transaction fees.

What happens with 3.200 Euro?
If the 1st funding goal of 3,200 Euro is reached, the book will be produced in any case and you will receive your rewards. These costs only cover the production of the book (in a run of 100 copies) and the production or dispatch of the thank-you and the crowdfunding and transaction costs.

What happens with 9.400 Euro?
If the 2nd funding goal of 9,400 Euro is reached, I can significantly increase the number of copies and provide the book with a noble dust jacket as well as cover at least part of the many working hours I put into this project.

So that the book is with you in time before Christmas, I have already completed the work on the book. If the 1st funding goal is not reached, of course there will be no costs for you, the money will not reach me at all, but will be refunded to you by Startnext. In this case I can't send you any rewards and the book won't go to print.
