Wave of Hope for the Future is a project created by refugees for other refugees living in Camp Moria on Lesvos, Camp Ritsona located in the north of Athens and Nea Kavala settled near Thessaloniki. This approach allows WHF to comprehend and work with the struggles that people have to face on a daily basis in the camps.
Camp Moria has space for 3000 refugees, still 20000 refugees are stranded there at the moment, already lacking basic human needs like water, functioning restrooms, hygiene products or doctors. Moreover, most of the refugees feel abandoned and lost all hope that the circumstances and their lives will ever change.
Wave of Hope for the Future was founded to provide educational needs, especially for children, youth and women currently living in Camp Moria. Given the current situation they are also providing basic hygienic products.
To support the project and to raise awareness for the severe situation we collaborated with seven DJs on a podcast series - each of them contributed a mix. For every 1000 klicks on our Soundcloud page Syntop donates 10€ to the campaign. Please also consider donating, since every euro helps to improve the living conditions of people in need.

We collect money for Wave of Hope. Their goal is to provide education for refugee children and to support women*. We call everyone to donate who is able to.
We believe action must be taken now and that anyone can do something to help to improve the severe living conditions the people in Camp Moria are living in.
The campaign ends after one month. The collected money will be transferred to Wave of Hope afterwards.
