Wir erzählen in diesem Film die Geschichte von Ben Davis, einem US Astronauten, der in seiner letzten Mission den Auftrag hat, die internationale Raumstation ISS zu demontieren, da diese für die neue „Lunar Gateway“ weichen soll. Gegen den Willen seiner Frau, die sich die „NASA Rente“ ihres Mannes ganz anders vorgestellt hatte. Doch es läuft einiges schief und plötzlich bricht auch noch der Kontakt zur Erde ab ....
