Charlie steht kurz vor dem Abitur und führt eine glückliche Beziehung mit ihrer Freundin Viky. Ihr Leben könnte perfekt sein - wäre da nicht ihr Vater Bernd. Er ist arbeitslos und übt einen enormen Druck auf seine Tochter aus, weil er eine bessere Zukunft für sie möchte. "Traumtänzerin" wird ein erfrischend anderes LGBT Drama, basierend auf dem gleichnamigen Roman von Alicia Zett.
