Crowdfunding since 2010
(for english, please activate the subtitles in the video or go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sj5itfuElXo ) Our shirts adhere to the highest of textile- and fair wear standards: the GOTS, but other than typical eco shirts they fit well, have a modern cut and come in powerful colors, both plain or with our logo on the chest. For each shirt sold, we will plant 11 trees in poor countries to nurture nature and people.

What is this project all about?

Inspired by companies that offer not only products of high natural quality and from fair labour, but who furthermore add something positive for people and/or nature to each purchase, our vision is to become a brand that offers apparel which actually is eco & fair, but doesn't look stereotypical: instead it's modern, stylish and feels incredible.

We took the whole chain from production until delivery and ensured at every step of the way, that nature and people are being taken care of in the best possible way. After delivery, 11 trees are planted for each shirt. The trees are planted in countries like Ethiopia, the Philippines, Haiti and Brazil, where they not only strengthen nature but also can be eaten or sold by locals to help them in many different ways.

Our vision is to become a brand that can offer apparel all year long through an online store. To get there, we need your help! The first step is ordering at least 100 shirts. Since we don't want to give any influence to external forces like banks or financial investors, we are crowdfunding this order. To reward your support, we are offering the shirts in this campaign below the price they'll have in the future online shop.

COLOR/SIZE INFORMATION:

The girl shirts are available XS, S, M, L, XL and the men shirts are available S, M, L, XL.
The girl shirts are available in navy, red, and black. The men shirts are available in navy, red, and grey.

In terms of size, the shirts are what they say: an "S" is actually an "S", and so on. It's not like with typical italian or HM pieces, where an S is really a XS. See the images below the video for a size comparison on Gabors body.

Please help us realizing our vision, and bringing fair but also stylish fashion to the market!

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

The goal of this campaign is to see if there is a demand for what we want to offer. To see, if others share our vision. The larger goal of our project, if there is the demand, is to grow and build a brand, where eco/fair and modern/stylish don't have to contradict each other, but go hand in hand.

This project is for everyone! Due to its modern fit, the V neck and the plain or logo option our shirts fit a myriad of people and applications, for everyday wearing and work, to the beach or for sports, or even underneath a blazer in the evening - with the TREELEVEN shirt you'll always be dressed well and comfortable.

Wearing a TREELEVEN shirt is also a statement: It states you care for people, you care for nature, and you stand up and do something for it, so you can wear it with pride.

Why would you support this project?

Because we will make and do it better. We will make better looking fashion, plant more trees and aim for generally being better than the stuff that is currently on the market in as many ways as we can.

Our shirts adhere to the highest of standards, we strongly suggest you take a look at http://www.global-standard.org/en/the-standard/general-description.html
to see how extensive the requirements for this standard are. It ensures high quality of materials, sustainable production, as well as safe and fair working conditions for everyone involved.

Our trees are planted by only the most reliable organizations, like iplantatree.org or plant-for-the-planet.org. In countries like Ethiopia, the Philippines, Haiti and Brazil, edible plants and fruits are planted to supply nutrition and trade value, as well as medicine, to local people.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

A successful funding will allow us to order at least 100 Shirts, and to order the planting of at least 1.100 trees. It will also allow us to get an online shop system up and running, so that, after another campaign which we plan to use to collect inventory, we can offer our shirts not only through campaigns, but on a regular basis, to everyone, through the online shop.

Who are the people behind the project?

We are Gabor Katai from Stuttgart, Germany and Andreas Kalteis from Hard, Austria, and we met each other through our common passion: Parkour. Gabor is a dancing- and parkour coach, Andreas is a designer and parkour professional. Parkour is a sport or art which connects the participant strongly to his surroundings and nature. You travel to many countries, and see the circumstances under which people there have to live and work. That is why the fair trade aspect of TREELEVEN is so dear to us.

We desire to build a brand that we can represent with a good conscience. A brand that inspires people to make a positive difference with their clothing. To fulfill that desire, to realize our vision, we ask for your help. Together, we can make this happen!
