In September 2014 Johannes Erdmann and Cati Trapp put out to sea to cross the Atlantic, sail through the Caribbean and to discover the East Coast of the USA . Johannes, is an experienced sailor, but Cati is a complete beginner! Two years living in a confined space and under the harsh conditions of life on the sea. The dream of exiting? The young couple has captured the journey in a moving video diary. Now we want to make a movie out of it! Authentic, close, and honest!

What is this project all about?

It comes to the documentation an adventurous journey with storms, dolphins and beautiful beaches and to the personal development of Johannes and Cati during the trip.
Moreover, it is full of facts report about the boat, the material, the cost of travel. The film conveys a variety of experiences that can be made only if one has the courage to sail out into the world.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

The goal is to produce a film documenting this extraordinary voyage from a very near and authentic view.
Target groups are all sailors, boaters, adventurers and people who have always dreamed of a "blue-water-törn", but are not cast off.
