Because of Corona Ancho's had to close both it's doors in Landstuhl. Now we're trying to find a new way (Food and Event Truck) to pursue our Philosophy! Our biggest wish is to still serve our Friends and Customers our amazing and delicious Food and Craft Beers. But, we alone can't fulfill this wish, that's why we need your help/support!
Ancho’s Philosophy : North, South, East, or West: Only the BEST for our guests!
We consider Ancho’s to be a role model for our industry. Others have gradually begun to imitate our "Food from Scratch #homemade" philosophy. Everything we serve is homemade from scratch; from the buns we serve our juicy burgers on to the Ranch dressing we serve with our salads. Nothing but the best! Ancho’s Bar & Grill and Ancho’s Craft Beer Lounge were our small family-owned businesses. We had no chance of surviving the corona crisis. “If you are thrown out of your usual path, you sometimes think that everything is lost. But in reality, something new is starting!" A food truck would be a new, innovative way to get our homemade recipes out to our fellow food lovers. Another service we’d like to provide to our customers is the ability to rent out our food truck for private parties. We would love to work with you to customize dishes and music (playlist or live) for your next event, celebration or other occasion. We want to be your one-stop shop for food and fun!
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
In 2012 we brought Ancho’s from the USA to Kaiserslautern. We participated in various local Food Festivals and spoiled our Guests with delicious Street Food Dishes such as Po Boys, Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Blackened Chicken Sandwiches. We opened Ancho’s Bar & Grill in Landstuhl in January of 2017 and from there we were able to grow large enough to open Ancho’s Craft Beer Lounge next door. Business was great…until the Coronavirus Crisis. In 2020, the purchase of our first Food/Music Truck will help us lay the foundation to become your ultimate party experience for all occasions. Ideally, we would like to use a combination of Food Trucks and Restaurants to spread our "philosophy" much faster and further in Germany. We want to make a statement! Ancho’s United is for anyone who enjoys the benefits of fast food (convenience, speed, prices, etc.) but does not want to compromise on quality; i.e. homemade Ingredients sourced ethically with respect for the environment, People and Animals while supporting local and regional Companies.
Why would you support this project?
Everything we do, we do it with 1000% of our Heart and Soul. We love what we do and it shows in the quality of our Food and the relationships we create with our Customers. -No one is too good for any one job at the Restaurant. Everyone helps - regardless of whether it’s keeping the books or washing dishes. We all jump in to get the work done! -Everyone benefits from our success! Whether it‘s the Employees through higher wages or our Customers through better service. -Every detail is considered in the context of the Restaurant as a whole. We do this so that the result benefits everyone, regardless of whether it’s new recipes, different napkins, or the color of a wall. Will it benefit Ancho’s as a business? Will it benefit our Customers? If the answer is YES then we do it! -All feedback is immediately recorded and analyzed - so that we identify errors and implement suggestions for improvement as quickly as possible in order to provide our guests with the best service. -You have probably read it 10 times by now, but we live by this philosophy - Only the best for our Guests! -Please support us if you believe in our philosophy and feel like you deserve the BEST.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
We have already found the Truck. The renovations will cost over € 40,000. The budget will of course fluctuate depending on the quality of Equipment we purchase. We would prefer to purchase high-quality Equipment because you, our Customers, deserve the best! In order to guarantee we purchase the best Equipment (and maybe even a dance floor!) we have a goal to raise an additional €12,000. Of course any amount raised over that additional goal will help a lot!
Who are the people behind the project?
With us there are no classic titles or steep hierarchies - we are Ancho’s United! We are a big bunch of music and food-loving friends who want to bring our passion to the world! We’d like to introduce ourselves below: Rainer: The real chef - chef, grand master of the kitchen, artist - he cooked with Mario Batalli, Wolfgang Puck and many more in Las Vegas and brought Ancho’s to Kaiserslautern in 2012. Toni: Our social networker, DJ, and trained sound specialist. Laura: The housekeeper, heart & soul of the house. In addition, there are our heroes and heroines - Cerstin and Galia. They run our kitchen and floor and they are probably the fastest servers in the country.
