Wir machen einer Grünalge Plastik schmackhaft - Ein innovatives Biorecycling von Plastik durch PET-abbauende Grünalgen

Eine Lösung für die weltweite Umweltverschmutzung durch Plastik ist längst überfällig. Jeder Einzelne von uns ist betroffen und verantwortlich, aber wir alle können auch ein Teil der Lösung sein. Wir modifizieren die Grünalge Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (Chlamy), sodass sie in der Lage ist, den Kunststoff PET umweltfreundlich zu recyclen, wobei auch Mikroplastik zugänglich wird, was bei konventionellen Recyclingmethoden bislang nicht möglich ist.
