Hamburg Graffiti History 1980-1999

Our planned publication will document the history of Hamburg’s graffiti scene from 1980 to 1999. We are four editors and each of us has been part of the graffiti scene for more than 30 years. We combine an exclusive collection of photos with original quotes of the graffiti writers and academic essays to create an authentic documentation of the beginnings of a subculture that turned into a global art form.

Liebe UnterstützerInnen und Freunde der Hamburger Graffiti Historie,

es sind nun schon wieder ein paar Monate seit unserem letzten Update vergangen und wir wollen euch mal wieder auf den aktuellen Stand der Buchproduktion bringen.
Über den Sommer werden wir noch die letzten Layout-Anpassungen vornehmen und den über 1.200 Fotos den letzten Schliff verpassen. Der aktuelle Zeitplan ist definiert und wir sind zuversichtlich im Spät-Sommer in die Produktion zu gehen.
Wir wollen ein umfangreiches Werk über die Entstehung unserer Szene in den 80er und 90er Jahren schaffen. Ihr könnt euch auf über 500 Seiten mit über 1.200 Abbildungen freuen. Aber es braucht seine Zeit zur Fertigstellung.

Alle Crowdfunding Bücher und Dankeschöns sind seit letzter Woche verschickt und sollten nun bei allen angekommen sein. Wir bedanken uns noch einmal bei allen Crowdfundern die dieses Projekt erst möglich gemacht haben!

Wir sind überwältigt vom Interesse und dem positivem Feedback! Das haben wir allen zu verdanken die Teil dieses Projektes sind, die Aktiven der damaligen Zeit und alle die das Buch mit Inhalt gefüllt und gestaltet haben.
