Eisenbahn verbindet! Neben Museumsbahnverkehr bieten wir Jugend- und Kulturarbeit sowie gastronomische Angebote in der Region an.

Deutschlands einziger mobiler Jugendraum auf Schienen, historische Lokomotiven und Waggons. Dazu eine Eisenbahnstrecke aus dem Jahr 1927 mit touristischem Verkehr. Und das alles ehrenamtlich betrieben! Durch das Corona-Virus wurden sämtliche Vereinsaktivitäten untersagt, somit mussten unsere Osterfahrten und unser Schlemmerexpress ausfallen. Durch die Einnahmeverluste steht der Unterhalt und Fortbestand von Projekten und Verein auf der Kippe.

"Wir bringen niederschwellige Kulturangebote in den ländlichen Raum." Diese Aussage des Jury hat uns in unserer Arbeit bestätigt. Der Deutschen Kulturförderpreis der Wirtschaft wurde uns am 13. November 2016 in Frankfurt a.M. überreicht.

Deutscher Mobilitätspreis 2018

Mit der Idee einer kreiselstabilisierten Einschienenbahn auf altem Bahngleis konnten wir am 13.11.2018 den Deutschen Mobilitätspreis gewinnen.
