Crowdfunding finished
With miraculix, we have succeeded in developing simple substance tests, which for the first time can be used to determine the concentration of the active substances LSD, MDMA, and psilocybin from "magic mushrooms" in an uncomplicated and mobile way. We aim to make decision-relevant information available to everyone, thus minimizing risks and saving lives.

Project description show hide

What is this project all about?

Imagine you walk into a bar and read on the menu: "Alcohol".
What effect will a glass of alcohol have on you? Without any information about the content of the alcohol, everything from a slight buzz to a coma is possible.
However, this is exactly the situation that currently exists worldwide for psychedelic substances.

We want to change this and provide a scientifically validated product in an uncontrolled and unsafe environment to increase awareness of concentration and composition and to avoid life-threatening situations.

To this end, we have developed innovative rapid tests to determine the concentration of the following substances:

  • Psilocybin, the active ingredient in psychedelic mushrooms.
  • LSD
  • MDMA and others

To be able to produce these in the future, we need a laboratory for filling.

How can you help us?

  • order one of our QTests and be one of the first* worldwide
  • get our specially designed t-shirts/art prints
  • get the brand new volume 2 of the Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Plants signed by the two authors
  • meet us as a team and learn all about our vision

Let's make a difference together and take on a social taboo!

*Countries we can deliver QTests to Germany, UK, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Italy, USA, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg.
** Our QTests are based on the use of different chemical reagents, some of which are dangerous. Please note the enclosed instructions. We are happy to provide you with these instructions in advance.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

Our goal is to provide education based on scientific findings and facts, rather than dwelling on clichés that have long since become dusty.
With our substance tests, we bring information to where it is essential for informed decision-making. And thus offer a means of raising awareness, consciousness, and prevention.

Simple, straightforward, understandable, unambiguous.

And thus potentially interesting for anyone who wants to get information about psychedelic substances.

Why would you support this project?

Psychedelic substances are illegal in most countries. Substances that are contaminated, stretched with other active ingredients, or offered in lethal concentrations end up on the black market. For example, while 10 years ago pills with an average of 70 mg MDMA were in circulation, now dosages of over 300 mg can be found - For comparison: Already 120 mg can be fatal depending on body weight! Severe damage to health is the result.

Currently, there is simply no comparable test procedure. The existing rapid tests are too inaccurate and too interpretative. Drug checking (professional analysis) achieves valid results but is still in its infancy in Germany.

With our QTests, we want to change that and, together with our partners, raise awareness about a topic that has been taboo for far too long.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

The potential of our work was also recognized by the BMWi, which supported us last year with the Exist-Gründerstipendium. This allowed us, as a project at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, to use the on-site laboratories to develop our tests. However, the funding ends in April 2021, when we will need our laboratory in which to produce our QTests. We have already found suitable premises, but now we are still lacking the equipment. Since we work with different chemicals, the installation of a fume hood with an exhaust air connection is essential.
If we reach our funding goal with your support, we can create the basis for our laboratory with the purchase of the fume hood.

Who are the people behind the project?

We are a young, motivated team of three from Jena with different backgrounds and skills. Together we work on the success of our idea always at eye level. We want to make a difference together.
The togetherness makes our work special.

First funding goal reached!

But don't worry, this is not the end yet!!! =)
You still have the chance to get our rewards until this Sunday 23.00 CET.

The additional money we want to put into the further development of our app and thus make the evaluation of our QTests even more accurate for you! So it's worth it, let's give it our all at the end!

We want to offer this year for the first time a possibility for On-Site DrugChecking. As soon as we have left all Corona behind, there will be the possibility for DrugChecking with and through us at different parties and festivals.
