The project was conceived in order to find additional support for a community-oriented neighborhood restaurant that is fighting to survive and thrive. Over the last 3 1/2 years that Nalu Diner has been open, it has proven extremely challenging to create a sustainable level of business from the sale of food and drinks alone. We hope that by expanding our offering to well-designed, high quality T-shirts and mugs, a new source of income can be created, thereby augmenting our core products of affordable and passionately prepared food and drink.
The goal is to raise €850.- in order to start printing the mugs and T-Shirts.
The project was conceived in order to find a new way to help the restaurant survive.
Because Nalu Diner is a neighborhood restaurant that believes in offering the best possible service, quality, and community engagement, and is a business that I want to help survive and thrive.
The money will be used to finance the printing of T-Shirts and mugs. In addition to paying for the initial run of T-shirts and mugs that will be delivered to those people funding the project, the printing of a surplus of approximately the same number of products again will be financed once our goal has been reached.
Oliver Miller (founder/owner, Nalu Diner), Jon Hoekstra (Studio Hoekstra), Ines Gerber (independent filmmaker), Bejamin Kleemann (Black Ink Werkstatt für Siebdrück), and Snorre Sjønøst Henriksen (tie dye artist)
A Note about the "Realization Period"
It's unclear exactly why, but the stated "Realization Period" can't be updated now. Anyway, the funding drive will conclude at midnight on August 5th. We hope to raise 850EU by then, but the proverbial sky is the limit!
