Donations and crowdfunding for ideas affected by the pandemic
Founders and the creative community continue to be affected because they have to cancel concerts, close facilities or suffer sales losses for other reasons due to the current pandemic wave. There is not a suitable government aid package for all of them. In some cases the crowd & Startnext can help.
In this campaign, we want to help everyone who is directly affected as best we can and lower the hurdles for the projects that are admitted to the relief effort.
That means for you:
- You can start your project without rewards and pitch video.
- You can add or improve the rewards, the pitch video or texts during the runtime of your campaign.
- We will give you 4% Cofunding on all contributions as soon as you are accepted to the Relief Effort.
- We give you a platform for solidarity in hard times.

You can participate in the Startnext Corona Relief Effort if you, your project or your company have to overcome financial shortages due to the corona virus and its consequences in social life (quarantine, closure, performance bans) and you want to address the crowd for this purpose.
You live in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Belgium and South Tyrol.
You have two options after you click on the "Apply Now" button at the top of this page:
- You apply with an already existing Startnext project
- You apply using the application form and at the same time you create a new Startnext project, which you can later work on and bring into the funding phase.
After having received your application, we will send you the information about the admission or rejection for the Startnext Corona Relief Effort by e-mail as soon as possible.
Yes, you can apply to all partner campaigns, provided your project meets the respective eligibility requirements.

- We have lowered the hurdles for Startnext projects in the Relief Effort. You can start into the funding phase without rewards and a pitch video.
- You can still change your pictures and descriptions during the funding phase.
- Once your project has been accepted for funding, we will give you 4% Cofunding for each subsequent contribution by the crowd.
There are 4 requirements for the collected money to be paid out.
- The start level has been reached.
- You have successfully legitimized yourself as a starter.
- Your Startnext project has successfully completed the funding phase.
- We have collected the contributions, including revocations, fees and cofundings.
If these requirements are met, it will take a maximum of 21 days after the end of your funding phase for the money to arrive in your account.
If your Startnext project fits the guidelines of our Corona Relief Effort, you are welcome to apply at any time.
It is important for you to know that the 4% Cofunding will only be added to your funding once you have been admitted to the campaign.
