An illustrated book about Schönbrunn`s pandas: With great photos and personal stories. Yang Yang, the female panda, has taken up painting for you!

The giant pandas are the top favourite with visitors at Schönbrunn Zoo. We want to tell their whole story in a magnificent illustrated book and present the most beautiful photos from 15 years of panda life at Schönbrunn Zoo. All the people involved with the pandas at Schönbrunn will be sharing their interesting stories and exciting knowledge. We want to raise awareness for this endangered species. The book is going to be published in German and English. Delivery of the book before Christmas.

Ein Bild von Yang Yang ist nun ausgestellt

Johanna und ich waren heute schon im Tiergarten, um den Schaukasten im Pandahaus zu gestalten. Hier könnt ihr ab sofort erstmals eines der hundert Gemälde von Yang Yang bewundern.

Jedes ihrer Bilder ist natürlich ein Unikat und der Stil ist sehr unterschiedlich: Manchmal malt Yang Yang schwungvolle Kreise, dann wieder gerade Linien. Kein Bild gleicht dem anderen.

Außerdem ist auch ein Pinsel ausgestellt, damit ihr diese Erfindung von Zoologin Eveline Dungl einmal aus der Nähe betrachten könnt. Der Pinsel ist komplett aus Bambus.
