What is this project all about?

After the successful realization of the project "The Classical Ballet" Nutcracker "", the Junior Ballet Frankfurt (JBF), founded in 2017, sets a new ambitious goal: a link between poetry and dance. This time a dance style should not be (only) classical but modern / neoclassical / contemporary. The audience can expect different poems, songs in different languages and different dance styles.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

Our goals are:
- To link poetry and dance together. We want to create a platform for young trained dancers.
- To further promote the JBF: we want to use the revenues to financially support the JBF to further develop their own productions and to enable young dancers and choreographers to enter the professional world of work. By implementing own projects, the portfolio can be further developed and upgraded.

The target group:
- All age groups in the audience. Whether dancer or layman does not matter. Our project is going to speak to all of you, who is interested in dance, music and poetry and those who would like to follow us n our soul- opening journey!

Why would you support this project?

It is basically about the further development of dance and presentation in order to consolidate the contemporary dance in modern times. In addition, the structure of the JBF is supported to provide young dancers with a platform to realize their own projects.
Every contribution made by this campaign flows into the production of Poem.
The project enriches the public and cultural life of the region by creating a new platform for dance and culture.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

The crowdfunding for this project is intended to partially finance the dance production "Poem." We need a budget to create/borrow stage sets and costumes, to pay for hall rents of the theater as well as rehearsal and technology realized between March - December 2018.
You are cordially invited to attend the premiere.

Who are the people behind the project?

- Anna Filatov, founder and director Junior Ballett Frankfurt, qualified stage dancer, choreographer
- The Junior Ballet Frankfurt (12 young choreographers and dancers) is a union of talented dancers, students and the graduates of the HfMDK.
