World music / rumba / Afro-beat / urban folk TRIO from Spain, England & Ivory Coast, living in Heidelberg Germany would love to record 1st album

Hi Everyone, Thanks for supporting our crowdfunding campaign. We are very excited about recording our first studio album. The recordings are taking place from the 2nd to the 15th of December in La luciernaga estudio, Mallorca. It will be produced by one of our idols, Juanito Makande, in an amazing studio. By the end of February 2020 the album will be mixed, mastered and pressed. We are very happy and proud of these first 10 songs and we can't wait to share them with you. Thanks again xx

What is this project all about?

The first thing we will mention is that we are a family, the 3 of us know each other since a very long time and have shared the same roof since we were kids.
We have played together in different projects and bands before creating this trio.
We decided to create this trio because its based on trust, friendship and music, a project which we want to base our lives on.

The word Tribubu comes from the word Tribe and Bubu, we feel we are a tribe, united by music and a very similar way of understanding life, we also help and support each other in many ways, on and off the stage.

We created Tribubu in October 2018, we recorded a small EP to promote our music and did our first tour in December. After this tour we had so many offers that we decided to go all in with the project, and it has now become our main source of creativity & income. In the past months we travelled in 8 European countries making our sound more and more special.

We have the possibility now, to record with one of our idols, Juanito Makande, an expert in our field. this would be a dream come

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

The goal of this project is to record, mix, master, press and release our 1st studio album. We love the idea of involving friends, family and loyal fans as active investors in the project. Everyone gets to be an important part of this process and we eventually all celebrate together.

Why would you support this project?

There is a special connection that we create with the crowd everytime we play life. We have had countless amazing moments in our short career as a band, in many different countries.
We want to put all that energy into this album, we want to reach a larger audience and give people the possibility of taking an album home that will take them back to that moment of positive energy and vibration.
To do this we need the support of our people, as you can only achieve this with good a producer, a good studio and good musicians that will be with us in the creative process.
We can't wait to be on tour with this album and be able to see all of you who have made this possible and give a big personal thank you, a hug and great concert!

Who are the people behind the project?

There is a lot of people involved in the TRIBUBU project.
We work closely with 2 agencies, Musszo and Dragonfly bookings and 2 friends that book concerts for us in France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany Luxembourg and Spain.
We will present our album in all of these countries.

The producer of this album is one of our most admired artists, the spanish singer, Juanito Makande. We have been on tour listening to his music over and over, we know, in the hart, that he is the right person to record this album. We feel like we will leave that studio better musicians than how we went in.

Lara Barcena will do the designs of the album, she is a young talented artist, also the sister of our main singer.

There will also be different musicians taking part of the recordings, doing bass, Brass and drums.
