That would suffice for a small run of the Aldradach Almanac and the Camp Companion
In the Aldradach Almanac you find descriptions of all the businesses, traders and food stands of the town Aldradach, as well as a lot of useful background information and stories.
This year, for the first time ever, you will also be able to buy the Camp Companion with the same mission of the life outside of the town, the camps.
The goal of this campaign is to be able to sell these travel guides for in-game money. With your donation you help financing the OOC costs like printing, material, etc. And you help to give good playing experiences to everyone.
As an institution of the town, the Almanac is the source of information for everyone who wants to conduct trade or diplomacy. And the same will be true for the camps and the Camp Companion.
Dreamers, globetrotters and everyone who likes to hear a good story will be rewarded with the newest stories of the Dragonlands.
And our "in-game Google" is even the right choice if you want a nice memento or souvenir of your amazing time on the Quast.
If you donate through the campaign through one of the rewards, you will receive one of the copies for sure.
You even have a chance to get one of the much sought-after and rare noble almanacs. This version is bound in hardcover and printed on high quality paper - a real looker! There are only few copies of this version every year - and one of them could be yours!
And: for the higher rewards you can get a portrait and / or a story about you, your group or some funny event, which I will write for you.
I use the money for printing, binding and shipping of the books. I usually make sure that I can afford the highest number of copies with the money I receive from the campaign while getting the best possible quality as well. I do not make any profit with this project.
The in-game publishing house of the Almanac is the Aldradacher Skriptorium (Scriptorium of Aldradach),. The author is Bartholomäus Federkiel, former owner of the City Theatre of Aldradach and now owner of the Aldradacher Skriptorium. He's the winner of the Storytelling Contest of the year 13 a.f.A.
Out of game I'm Jens Grabarske, computer scientist and author, mainly of fantastical short stories. In that capacity I'm also a member of the PAN e.V.
This will be the fourth time I publish the Almanac.
Nowadays I'm not completely alone with this project anymore. I now have marketing and sales reps at the Skriptorium who help me with the work.
Several artists produce the wonderful drawings you can find in the books.
And last but not least I have many contacts that help me with my research.
You will soon find a complete list in the books and on the websites.
