Wir, das sind Julius Matuschik und Sebastian Cunitz, arbeiten seit einiger Zeit an einem fotografischen Projekt, das zu mehr Verständnis und Offenheit gegenüber der Situation von Flüchtlingen in der Öffentlichkeit beitragen soll. Unsere zentrale Fragestellung bei unserem Projekt "Gedanken über Gastfreundschaft" ist das kulturelle Verständnis und die Erfahrungen, die diese Menschen mit dem Wort Gastfreundschaft assoziieren. Ein Annäherung in Wort und Bild.

Das CAMEO MAGAZIN ist ein antirassistisches Fotomagazin-Projekt gemeinsam mit Flüchtlingen. Zahllose Menschen suchen bei uns in Deutschland Schutz. Mit der Veröffentlichung von Fotos und persönlichen Briefen soll eine Plattform für Gedanken und Gefühle von Flüchtlingen entstehen. Hier geht es nicht nur um Politik und Gesetze, sondern um ein gesellschaftliches Klima. Es geht um Eure Anteilnahme. Euer Interesse an dem Projekt soll entscheiden, ob das CAMEO MAGAZIN deutschlandweit erhältlich wird.
